Manna Project

We are proud to support the Manna Project. At The Manna Project, the ultimate goal is to reach the world with the gospel of Christ. They strive to accomplish this by training men to preach and equipping them with agricultural and vocational training. Once trained, the men return to their villages to preach, being able to support themselves.

Ricky Gootam

Ricky Gootam is from Kakinada, South India from the state of Andhra Pradesh. He graduated with and undergraduate degree from Freed-Hardeman University and a Masters degree from Oklahoma University. He is a preacher at Satyavani church of Christ in Kakinada, India. He directs the children’s home, leper colonies, medical missions, and is the coordinator for India’s “Lads-to-Leaders” program. He is son to Joshua Gootam, who was one of the first converts of, pioneer missionary of Brother J.C. Baily, from Canada in the 1960’s.

Uganda Africa

The Uganda Africa Team works with 71 congregations with over 5,000 members, 16 preaching points, 62 preschools, and provides educational opportunities at the Budoola Bible and Vocational
Institute (BBVTI). Specifically, the Team also provides the following: Preacher Training Ministry, Women’s Ministry, Church Visitation Ministry, Church Building Ministry, Preschool Ministry, Bible
Distribution Ministry, Grapevine Ministry, and Bicycle Ministry.

Ladies Bible Study

Sisters in Christ meet the 2nd and 4th Monday at 5pm to study Gods word, fellowship and plan events for the church.

Mens Bible Study

Brothers in Christ take a closer look at Gods word and what it looks like to be a man of God. Meeting time is at 6pm the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month.

Meals on Wheels

Brethren participate in a regular rotation of meal delivery to homebound residents of our community.

Young Bible Scholars

Bible classes from cradle roll through adult meet Sunday mornings at 9:45am. Cradle roll classes involve toddlers learning about Jesus through song. Children’s classes study Gods word, learn foundational principals of the Lord’s church, and sing songs. Adult and youth classes take a deep dive into the Word of God and learn how to daily live.

San Saba Nursing and Rehabilitation

Meeting time is Sundays at 2pm. Several brethren, and some of our youth, meet with the residents of San Saba Nursing and Rehab for a short devotional and to sing songs of worship.

Lads2Leaders

L2L is not a one week-end youth event it also involves youth in regular study into God’s Word that produce results. The year-round and convention events result in a well-rounded, confident, spiritually grounded individual that has the right foundation to be a worker for the Lord from youth through adulthood.
